On the days you do and/or don't feel like running or working out, turn on some good music and before you know it, you'll be droppin' it like it's hot, which are techn
I find that music gets me through everything! So, why not add the best songs, that have great beats, to get my heart pumpin' and my body jumpin'.
It's amazing what music does to a person! Who knew that listening to music will give us a better quality of life, as well as exercise?! Well, at least that's what I read. I have loved music since the day I was born. No matter what mood I am in, there is something about a melody, that captures my attention and I begin to focus on the journey ahead. I love all styles of music, as long as the lyrics are not too aggressive. In the morning, when my alarm goes off and I am mad that I have to get up, I listen to inspirational songs. This style of music makes me want to stretch. Stretching is good for getting your muscles untightened and getting your blood flow moving. That prepares me for a day full of unintended exercise. At my job I am always moving, I love the fact that I do not sit in one spot for no more than 10 minutes. We also get to listen to music throughout the day and that makes me so happy! Sooner or later, I start showing the ladies my Zumba moves, which turns into a 15 minute workout, without me even trying to. :-) I'm just goofy like that!
Don't let your mood stop you from burning the extra calories, we need all the movement we can't get, to shed these unwanted pounds. I have to keep reminding myself to not hate this journey, so music helps me lighten up. No matter how small, I believe every effort counts and if you want to achieve lasting results, make this lifestyle change fun and let's get the party started!
